By default, the Gas Contract Nomination (GCN) application interprets the current value of the flow rate used in calculations as a daily value.
When the application treats the value as an hourly value, it does the following:
-
Sets the gascontract record's current flow hourly value (curFlow.hour) to the current flow rate value.
-
Sets the gascontract record's current flow daily value (curFlow.day) to the hourly value multiplied by 24.
When the application treats the value as a daily value, it does the following:
-
Sets the gascontract record's current flow daily value (curFlow.day) to the current flow rate value
-
Sets the gascontract record's current flow hourly value (curFlow.hourly) to the daily value divided by 24
You can configure the flow rate granularity by executing the following procedure.
To configure the gas flow rate granularity
-
As required, copy the RealTime_GCN.json setting file from the source directory to the target directory as follows:
-
Source: %DNAInstallRoot%\AVEVA\DNA\RealTime\config\Settings\RealTime_GCN.json
-
Target: %DNADataRoot%\AVEVA\DNA\RealTime\config\Settings\RealTime_GCN.json
-
-
In the target directory, open the RealTime_GCN.json setting file in the text editor of your choice.
-
Navigate to the following line and modify it as required:
"GCN_CURRENT_FLOW_RATE": "DAILY"
The following case-insensitive values are valid:
-
"DAILY"
-
"HOURLY"
Note: When the line is absent from the file, or if any value other than "DAILY" or "HOURLY" appears as the value, the current value of the flowTotalConfig point is treated as a daily value by default.

Save the file.
-
Restart the RealTime Service.
