  6. Optional: Select the expand button () to enlarge the image on your screen.

  7. Optional: On the enlarged image, use the zoom tools to zoom in (Zoom In Button) and out (Zoom Out Button) of the image.

  8. Create an ROI by using one of the following shapes:

    • Polygon

Select the image to create connection points around the ROI and create a polygon.

Coordinates for each connection point appear on the screen.

    • Rectangle

Select the image to create two opposite corners of the ROI.

AVEVA Vision AI Assistant draws the rest of the rectangle.

Coordinates for each connection point appear on the screen.

  9. Optional: Select Result to view only the ROI.

  10. Optional: Select Clear to delete the ROI and start over.

  11. Optional: Modify the connection points for the ROI:

    1. Turn on the Manual Override toggle.

    2. Select a connection point on the ROI.

Below the image, you can view highlighted coordinate boxes of the selected points.

    3. Manually adjust the coordinates of the connection points by entering new numbers in the boxes.

The coordinates update live on the screen.

  12. Select Apply Changes.

The preview image for the block updates on both the Properties side sheet and the Canvas.
