The following new features and enhancements are included in this release:

  • User Defined Pipeline (UDP)

The UDP model is the most sophisticated skill type created within AVEVA Vision AI Assistant. It is very flexible and can be configured in different ways to solve a broad range of problems. The core concept of the model is that an input image travels through a series of steps, transformations, actions, and blocks which build a Pipeline to achieve an end result.

The UDP comes with a standard toolbox of capabilities which can be used as blocks on a Canvas for users to assemble their Pipeline. UDPs are useful in a wide range of use cases such as processing and image, image isolation, measuring of dimensions, determining color, and finding defects.

For more information, see User Defined Pipeline skills.

  • User Interface (UI) for monitoring UDP results

The UI for the UDP skill monitors the results of the Pipeline from multiple prediction blocks.

For more information, see Prediction blocks.

  • AVEVA Enterprise Licensing

The AVEVA Enterprise Licensing system is a common licensing platform used to effectively and efficiently manage AVEVA Enterprise Software product licenses. This licensing system is composed of a browser-based License Manager and a License Server that together allows you to share and deliver licenses for your installed products and supports flexible topologies for any size of system.

AVEVA Vision AI Assistant displays the status of your license. For more information, see AVEVA Vision AI Assistant license.

  • Cybersecurity improvements

We have fixed security issues from previous releases of AVEVA Vision AI Assistant.

  • Platform Common Services (PCS) upgrade to version 7.1

This version of PCS provides Integrated User Control to have a common sign in for all AVEVA products at runtime.

  • Model version rollback

If you have completed an iteration of model retraining and want to roll back to a previous version, AVEVA Vision AI Assistant allows you to roll the model backwards or forwards.

For more information, see Roll back to a previous model version.

  • Access AVEVA Vision AI Assistant REST API technical documentation

For technical purposes, such as connecting to an infrastructure or a product, you can now access the API technical documentation from AVEVA Vision AI Assistant through an API Help link.

For more information, see Access AVEVA Vision AI Assistant REST API technical documentation.

  • Usability improvements
