Connect to AVEVA Insight – News tab

You need to configure an API key to securely publish news stories to AVEVA Insight. The AVEVA Insight Administrator must generate an authorization key to allow data retrieval requests.

To configure the Connect to Insight News tab

1. Navigate to Connect to Insight page.

2. Select the News tab.

3. Enter the following values:

   1. Server – Insight Solution URL

   2. End Point – The Insight REST endpoint

   3. Token – Insight Secure Token

      Contact the Insight Administrator to obtain a security token via the Integration Settings – Historian Data REST API option.

4. Select Test to verify the connection.

   An error message displays if a connection does not establish.

5. Select Save.

   Connect to Insight saves the connection settings.
