Create a skill

The first step is to create a skill.

To create a skill

1. Launch AVEVA Vision AI Web Client.

   The Getting Started screen appears.

2. Optional: Select Do not show this message again to stop it from displaying again.

3. Select Let's Start.

4. Select Add Skill.

   The New Skill page appears.

5. Select the skill type.

   Note: For more information on the available skill types, see AVEVA Vision AI Assistant skill types.

   

6. Provide a name and description for the skill:

   • The Name box allows for a maximum length of 32 alphanumeric characters. The name can include the following special characters: + _ -

   • The Description box can contain the following special characters: . , $ @ ( ) / _ -

7. Select Create Skill.

   The Train Your AI page appears.

   The training steps are slightly different, which depends on the skill type.
