  • Last UpdatedFeb 12, 2024
  • 3 minute read

After configuring and deploying the skill, you can publish the anomaly score to AVEVA Insight as a tag. The tag values are recorded over time and can be viewed as a trend. Viewing the anomalies as a trend over a period time allows you to detect patterns and determine future actions easily. The values sent for an Anomaly Detection skill are Anomaly Count and Anomaly Score. The values sent for a Discrete State Detection skill are Label0 count, Label1 count, Last Classification Label, and Last Classification Confidence Score.

Perform the following steps to publish anomaly scores and view the trend:

  1. Obtain the AVEVA Insight data source details.

  2. Configure the Insight data source connection details.

  3. Enable the skill to publish the anomaly score.

  4. View the trend in AVEVA Insight.

  6. Enter the following values to configure the News Story Frequency:

    1. New Story Interval – Select a value to represent the interval value. For example, 3 days or 40 minutes.

    2. News Story Interval Type – Select between minutes, hours, and days.

    3. Publish Rate – Select a value to represent the maximum number of stories to be published to the newsfeed.

At the designated interval, the number of stories selected publishes to AVEVA Insight. These properties help control the notifications published to AVEVA Insight. For example:

      • News Story Interval: 1

      • News Story Interval Type: hours

      • Maximum number of stories: 10

This signifies that every 1 hour the first 10 anomaly notifications publishes to AVEVA Insight. Any anomalies exceeding the maximum number is discarded.
