Connect your camera

You can choose and connect to cameras in the following ways:

• Network – Provide a URL to an network connected camera. For more information, see Network. For the format of URL, see Camera.

• Webcam – Connect to the web camera installed on the local computer. For more information, see Webcam.

• Dataset – Upload images and videos stored on the local computer. For more information, see Dataset.

• Programmatic – Connect to an external monitoring source using REST APIs. For more information, see Programmatic.

• Basler – Connect to a Basler camera on the network. For more information, see Basler.

  Note: The Camera Name box allows a maximum of 32 alphanumeric characters. The special characters allowed are +_-
