Edit a camera

You can edit the properties of an existing camera, such as its name and type.

To edit the camera properties

1. Select on the camera you want to modify.

2. In the side sheet, edit the following properties:

   • Camera Name

   • Camera Type:

     • If the Camera Type is Network, then edit the URL.

     • If the Camera Type is Webcam, then you can select another camera.

     • If the Camera Type is Dataset, then the available datasets are displayed. You can change the dataset selections that provide images to the camera.

     • If the Camera Type is Basler, then you can edit the URL or IP of the camera.

     • If the Camera Type is Programmatic, you can only edit the camera name.

3. Do one of the following:

   • Select Save to update the camera properties.

   • Select Cancel to retain the existing camera settings.
