Correct block configuration errors

If a block on the Canvas contains a red border, it means that the block is invalid due to a property error. The property entry is either incorrect (for example, entering an integer instead of a string) or missing. You must correct the property entry or entries to validate the block.

The following figure is an example of an invalid block with a red border:

To correct an invalid block's properties

  1. Right-click the block and select Properties.

    The block’s Properties page appears.

A property box with (Alert) contains an error.

  2. Review and correct the property entry which contains an error.

    (Alert) disappears.

The red border around the block disappears. The block is now valid.
