The Datasets page can be used to upload images, videos, and snapshots from a live camera. These images can be used as training datasets or cameras when configuring a skill.
To upload images

Under the Images tab, select Images.

On the Open dialog, select the images.

On the Create New Dataset dialog, enter the name of the dataset.

Select Confirm.
An Information dialog displays the number of images uploaded.
A thumbnail representing the uploaded image dataset is added to the list.
To upload videos

Under the Videos tab, select Video.

On the Open dialog, select the video file.

On the Create New Dataset dialog, enter the name of the dataset.

Select Confirm.
An Information dialog displays the number of images uploaded.
A thumbnail representing the uploaded video is added to the list.
Upload images using a live camera
You can upload images for training from a live camera by first connecting the network, web, or programmatic camera to the computer, and then capturing snapshots from the live feed.
When you snapshot images from the camera, a dataset is created. The name of database is cameraname_timestamp. Any new camera created as part of uploading images is also listed in the Cameras page.
To upload images from the live camera

Connect the camera to the computer.

Under the Live Camera tab, select + New.
All existing cameras appear in a list.

In the Camera Name box, enter a name for the camera.

From the Camera Type list, select the camera type.

Configure the following additional properties based on the selected camera type:

Network – Enter the URL in the URL box.

Webcam – Select the camera from the dropdown list.

Dataset – Select a dataset from the available items. Upload Images or Video to create a dataset before using the Dataset option.

Basler – Enter the URL or IP.

Select Save.

From the Cameras page, select the configured camera.
The live camera displays the live feed. You can now capture snapshots from this live feed by selecting a snapshot manually or automatically.

To select a snapshot manually, select Snapshot.

To capture a snapshot automatically:

Enter a value for the Frames per second.

Select Start.
-
Select Stop to stop capturing images.
At the specified interval, the camera captures and uploads the images.

Select the Images tab.
A new dataset with the snapshot images is created and listed.
