Import the app

The AVEVA Vision AI Assistant OMI app must be imported to a computer hosting the Galaxy Repository and the AVEVA™ Development Studio.

To import the app into a Galaxy

  1. Copy the VisionApp.aaPKG file to a location that is accessible to the computer hosting the AVEVA Development Studio, which includes the System Platform IDE.

  2. Launch the System Platform IDE.

  3. Import the VisionApp.aaPKG file into the Galaxy:

    1. Select Galaxy from the menu bar of the System Platform IDE.

    2. Select the Import option, and then select Object(s).

      The Browse For Folder dialog appears to locate the VisionApp.aaPKG file.

    3. Locate the folder containing the VisionApp.aaPKG file.

    4. Select the VisionApp.aaPKG file, and then select OK.

      The Import ArchestrA App dialog shows the progress of importing the app.

  4. After the import is completed, show the Graphic Toolbox.

    VisionApp appears at the root of the Graphic Toolbox.

    If the import fails, refer to the Log Viewer for details.

  5. Optional: To rename the app, right-click the app, and then select Rename from the shortcut menu.
