Configure ports for System Management Server

You can use the Configurator to update the ports used by AVEVA Vision AI Web Client.

To configure the ports for the System Management Server

  1. From the Configurator, select System Management Server.

  2. Select Advanced.

    The Advanced Configuration dialog appears:

    Embedded Image (65% Scaling) (LIVE)

    • System Management Server If you are connecting to an existing System Management Server, the name and port number of the server you selected appears.

    • Common Platform Ports – The ports for the common platform are used for communications with certain AVEVA software. Generally, you can use the default settings. Remote nodes must be configured with the same port numbers as configured here:

      • Default HTTP port: 80

      • Default HTTPS port: 443

  3. In the HTTPS Port box, enter any port number that has not been blocked or is currently in use.

    HTTPS ports can range from 0 to 65535.

  4. Select OK to save your settings.

  5. Select Configure to apply your changes.

    The Configuration Messages area displays the steps in the configuration process and the progress.

    If the configuration is unsuccessful, refer to the error messages in the System Management Console.
