Copy an existing skill to create a new skill

You can create a new skill based off of an existing trained or deployed skill. You can do this in the New Skill page or in the Monitor page.

To copy and create a skill from the New Skill page

1. Select Copy Existing.

   A dropdown list appears between the two boxes.

   

2. In the Name box, enter a name for the new skill.

3. In the dropdown list, select the skill to copy from.

4. In the Description box, enter a description for the new skill.

5. Select Copy Existing.

   The new skill is complete and contains the dataset from the existing skill.

   The new skill directs you to the Connect your Camera section. For more information on how to connect a camera, see Connect your camera.

   

To copy and create a skill from the Monitor page

6. On the top-right side of the Monitor page, select (More Menu Vertical), and then select Copy Skill.

   

   A Copy Skill pop-up dialog appears.

   

7. Enter a name for the new skill.

8. Select Copy.

   The new skill is complete and contains the dataset from the existing skill.

   The new skill directs you to the Connect your Camera section. For more information on how to connect a camera, see Connect your camera.
