Configure AVEVA™ Vision Service

After configuring the System Management Server, you can then set up AVEVA Vision Service.

To configure AVEVA Vision Service

  1. From the Configurator, on the left pane, select Vision Service.

    The Vision Service page configures the users, groups, and port that AVEVA Vision Service uses:

    • Under the Users and Groups section, the current user is added to both user groups by default.

    • The default configured port number appears in the Network Connection section.

  2. Select Add a shortcut to the Vision AI Web Client on the desktop.

    An AVEVA Vision AI Web Client shortcut appears on the desktop.

  3. Select Configure.

  4. Provide the user credentials to configure AVEVA Vision Service.

    If you are prompted for user credentials for the System Management Server, use the following format to enter the user name: DomainName\UserName. The prompt for user credentials may display if you have domain administrator privileges but are not an administrator on the local computer. You must be a member of the Administrators or aaAdministrators OS group to configure the System Management Server.

    Upon successful configuration, a Configuration is completed message appears.

  5. Record the URL of AVEVA Vision Service in the following format: https://<computername>.<domain>.com:<portnumber>/
