Flow instrumentation function types

You can mature a flow instrumentation function or differential pressure instrumentation function by reclassifying the type of sensor used to measure the physical variable. Reclassification can be done either in the canvas as shown in Mature a flow instrumentation function, or in the Flow Measurement Functions grid. This grid is designed to display the sensor type (or the primary element) used to measure the physical variable in the context of the flow instrumentation function or differential pressure instrumentation the sensor belongs to.
After reclassifying the sensor, the flow instrument function automatically appears in its associated specialized grid. The grids include:

These grids appear empty before the sensor is reclassified, as they are configured to not display the flow instrumentation functions while their sensor is still classified as a generic flow sensor.
Each grid is designed with a filter that hides other flow function objects, allowing users to focus on the relevant measurement type. The attributes shown in the sub-grids of each specialized grid are aligned with the corresponding datasheets.
Note: The Differential Pressure Flowmeters grid lists only flow measurement points that the user has reclassified as Differential Pressure Instrumentation Functions.
