Temperature instrumentation function types

You can mature a temperature instrumentation function by reclassifying the type of sensor used to measure the physical variable. Reclassification can be done either in the canvas as shown in Mature a temperature instrumentation function, or in the Temperature Measurement Functions grid. This grid is designed to display the sensor type (temperature element) used to measure the physical variable.
After the sensor is reclassified, the temperature instrumentation function appears in both the Temperature Measurement Element grid and the Temperature Measurement (RTD/TC) grid (this grid exclusively displays resistance temperature elements and Thermocouples).
The Temperature Measurement (RTD/TC) grid appears empty before the sensor (temperature element) is reclassified, as it is configured to not display the temperature instrumentation functions while their sensor (temperature element) is still classified as a generic temperature element.
Each grid is designed with a filter that hides other temperature function objects, allowing users to focus on the relevant measurement type. The attributes shown in the sub-grids of each specialized grid are aligned with the corresponding datasheets.
