Timing of PI point creation

The relay creates points for the measurement properties in a value stream only when the first event is received from the stream. The relay may behave differently with other databases. For example, the relay can create a PI AF data reference to a PI point before the point exists. Thus, if a connector or OMF application does not send measurement values immediately after creating a new value stream, you might notice a delay in point creation.
