Change PI Data Collection Manager installation settings

Change installation settings for PI Data Collection Manager when:

• Reinstalling the PI Data Collection Manager software

• Replacing missing files from the installation

• Changing the administration port number

• Changing the Windows account for the PI Data Collection Manager service

  Note: To remove users from the PI Data Collection Manager Administrators Group, modify the Windows User Accounts configuration through the Windows Control Panel.

1. Open Programs and Features as an administrator from the Windows Control Panel.

2. Select the PI Data Collection Manager program, and then select Change.

   Note: Changing installation settings stops the data collection manager service.

   The PI Data Collection Manager setup wizard opens.

3. Select Next.

   The installation and change options are displayed.

4. Select Change to modify the settings.

5. Change installation configurations using the wizard.
