Enable Data Archive access for the PI Connector Relay identity

Use PI System Management Tools to provide the PI identity for PI Connector Relay read and write access to the PIDS and PIPOINT tables or PI Connector Relay read access to the PIUSER table.

You must have already created a PI identity for PI Connector Relay.

1. Start PI System Management Tools.

2. Select Security > Database Security.

3. Right-click the PIDS, PIPOINT or PIUSER table and select Properties.

4. In the Security window, click Add.

5. In the Select window, double-click the PI Connector Relay identity to add it to the access control list.

6. In the Security window:

   • Enable Read and Write for the PI Connector Relay identity for the PIDS or PIPOINT tables.

   • Enable Read for the PI Connector Relay identify for the PIUSER table.

7. Click OK to save the settings and close the window.
