Learn how to create and configure security for the PI AF database

If the PI Connector Relay host will send data to PI AF, perform the following tasks to create and configure a PI AF database.

Failure to create and configure the PI AF database results in the following error when you start PI Connector Relay:

Cannot complete the operation because the user does not have rights to
write to Element 'X' with Unique ID 'Y'

Use PI System Explorer to create the PI AF database and provide the Windows accounts for PI Connector Relay and PI Data Collection Manager with the required access to PI AF.
