Configure output points

Configure the attributes of the output point to specify the input point that will trigger updates.
Note: The data type of the input point must be compatible with that of the triggered output point.
For the triggered output point, configure the sourcetag and pointsource attributes.

Set the sourcetag attribute to the tag attribute value of the input point that will trigger updates.
The input point is the PI point that contains the values you want written to the destination data source.

Set the pointsource attribute to match the point source (ps) parameter value of the interface instance connected to the data source.
The point source of the output point must match the point source of the interface instance, but the input point can be associated with any point source.
