Diagnostic information is available for UniInt interfaces using the following methods:

  • Review error and informational message logs in the PI message log file

  • Use the pipc parameter to print all messages to the pipc.log file in addition to the PI message log file

  • View Windows performance counters using the Windows Performance Monitor, or use the PI Interface for Performance Monitor to create performance counter points

  • View interface health, status, and performance points using a visualization tool

  • Change parameters from the command line and test the output
