You can stop the interface and trigger an orderly shutdown where UniInt performs all the shutdown processes.
-
For orderly shutdown of interfaces running as a service, stop the interface service in one of two ways:
-
Stop the interface service in PI ICU.
-
Stop the interface service in Windows.
If the computer crashes or the process is stopped, the interface can be terminated without completing an orderly shutdown.
-
-
For interfaces running interactively in a command prompt window, press Ctrl+C to begin orderly shutdown.
Note: To interrupt orderly shutdown for interactive interface processes in the command prompt window, press Ctrl+C more than once.
