You can disable data collection before starting the interface, or while the interface is running. Data collection is enabled by default.

  1. Using PI SMT, set the scan attribute for each point to 0.

    The interface will detect the change at the next update interval (by default, 2 minutes). Multiple update intervals are necessary to process point updates of 25 or more.

  2. Optional: To enable data collection, set the scan attribute to 1.
