Interface security configuration overview

Interfaces connect data sources to Data Archive. Sending data across networks and through individual machines within those networks can pose security risks. Therefore, OSIsoft recommends you configure your interface service accounts using the most secure methods possible that meet your requirements. Additionally, consider whether the interface needs to write to a data source before selecting a read-write version of an interface.
