Restricted directory access for disconnected startup files

By default, interfaces install in the %PIHOME% directory under \Program Files or \Program Files (x86). Both of these folders are protected with restricted access in Windows Vista or later.

The default location for disconnected startup files is the interface installation folder. To use the default folder for the cache files on Windows systems that protect the folder, an administrator must grant the interface service account write access to the interface installation folder. Otherwise, choose a non-protected folder for the cache files.
