Configure the batch file

The interface .bat file contains a list of parameters that control how the interface runs.

1. Open PI ICU and select the interface instance.

   Any new interfaces added to PI ICU (using New Windows Interface Instance from EXE and New Windows Interface Instance from BAT File operations) are included in the drop-down list.

2. Select or enter your interface parameters.

   For more information about configuring interfaces using PI ICU, refer to the PI Interface Configuration Utility (PI ICU) User Guide.

   Note: To ensure scan class performance counters are created for all scan classes, define the scan classes for the interface before creating the interface service, unless you disable performance counters. To update scan class performance counters after creating the interface service, see Update performance counters.

3. Save and run the interface to make the parameter changes take effect.
