Disable exception reporting

Standard exception reporting is enabled by default, and is disabled using the sn parameter in the .bat file. You can use PI ICU to disable exception reporting for the interface instance. Use PI SMT to change point attributes.

To disable exception reporting for the interface instance, launch PI ICU and select the interface instance, navigate to the UniInt page and select Bypass exception.

To disable exception reporting for a PI point, use PI SMT, and set excmin, excmax, excdev, and excdevpercent attributes to 0.
This setting takes effect after the interface restarts.
