Start the interface

Starting the interface as a Windows service is best for normal interface operation. The other options can be better for testing and troubleshooting.
Choose one of the interface startup methods:

Start the interface from PI ICU, either starting the service or as a non-service in the command prompt window.

Run the Windows service for the interface.
From the Windows menu, click Control Panel > Administrative Tools, and then double-click Services. Select the service for the interface and click Start.

Run the batch file with the interface startup commands.

Run the interface executable command from a command prompt window, and specify the parameters from the command line.
