Adding a Point

Add a point to model local/remote switch status by following the instructions below.

1. Expand the Points library and select State Integer.

   

2. In the Tank Level Control window, click anywhere above the motor to add the state integer.

3. Enter the name as MTL1_REMOTE and click OK.

   

4. Add a point to model local/remote switch status by following the instructions below.

5. Expand the Points library and select Dynamic Integer.

   

6. In the Tank Level Control window, click anywhere above the motor to add the dynamic integer.

7. Enter the name as SETPOINT and click OK.

   

8. Right click on the point SETPOINT and choose Draw Attributes.

9. Enable the "Allow Setting Value" checkbox to create the green underline. The green underline informs the user that the value can be double-clicked and new value entered.
