Correct Method to Start the TriStation Emulator with DYNSIM Dynamic Simulation

If the TriStation Emulator starts from the TriStation 1131 program, it will not function or communicate with DYNSIM. Follow these steps:

1. Shut down any TriStation emulator instances.

2. Review TriStation PT2/PT2X file parameters required for simulation (see the AVEVA Simulation for Triconex Systems – User Guide for complete details).

3. Start DYNSIM and ensure a TRISIM engine references these parameters.

4. Load the simulation into memory.

5. For new simulations, download the emulator files and disconnect from the emulator.

6. Save the DYNSIM simulation, shut down, and restart.
