For this tutorial, we will learn how to open a pre-existing flowsheet.

  1. On the TRISIM machine browse to: C:\SimSci\TRISIM\User.

  2. If needed, move Simple_Flowsheet_TSBase.js4m to the machine running DYNSIM. Open this file in DYNSIM.

  3. Review the Simulation Configuration to verify two engines will start on the TRISIM computer: DYNSIM-L and TRISIM.

  4. Ensure the "TriStation emulator node name" shows TRINODE01. Close the engine configuration window and click the Load Full icon.

  5. Ensure the "TriStation version (x.x.x)" is set to the TriStation version to be used to download its PT2 file.

  6. Ensure the "TriStation platform type" is set to the controller type as configured in the PT2 file.
