AVEVA Simulation for Triconex Systems

Welcome to the release of AVEVA™ Simulation for Triconex™ Systems (TRISIM) 2020 (internally known as 4.2). These Release Notes supplement the AVEVA Simulation for Triconex Systems 2020 documentation supplied with this release. They detail important notices, new features, and resolved defects for AVEVA Simulation for Triconex Systems software.

AVEVA Simulation for Triconex Systems is an engine link to the Triconex TriStation 1131 emulator from the SimSci process-modeling package, AVEVA™ Dynamic Simulation (DYNSIM). The instrument and control signals that link the two pieces together are managed with the AVEVA Dynamic Simulation Suite cross-reference database utility that is accessible by the DYNSIM Graphical User Interface.

For simplicity, we will use the terms DYNSIM and TRISIM throughout this document.
