Running the Complete Model

Now we can operate the flowsheet because the cross-reference database has been created, tied off to the model objects, and loaded into the simulation.

1. Verify that the simulation is running.

   

2. On the Tank Level Control flowsheet graphic, place the pump in Remote.

   

3. Verify the SETPOINT is 3.0.

4. Double click on VTL1 and open the valve 50%.

5. Allow the model to run until the tank level stabilizes.

6. Save a snapshot.

7. If desired, view the emulated PT2 file using TriStation.
