Edge Connector Hardware Requirements

The following list provides guidelines for hardware configurations suitable for Edge Connector server machines, ensuring that your system performs well and is reliable.

• A 64-bit operating system is required.

• A Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2022 or Windows Server 2025 is required.

• There should be sufficient free disk space to fully cache all projects that will be used with [or subscribed to] this Edge Connector, including room for project growth, and for non-Dabacon project files.

• The server machine should have an accurate system clock. Ensuring clock synchronization through Windows Time Service using a stable and accurate source clock is recommended.

• Pagefile.sys, the Windows paging file (also called the swap file or virtual memory file), must be enabled. The Windows default setting is enabled.

  Note: The Edge Connector must be on the same local area network as the client machines.
