Edge Connector services notice that there is an issue with the Access Token of the Edge Connector.

If you hover over the question mark, a tooltip is displayed.

If you click the question mark, a message is displayed.

Both, tooltip and message describe how you can resolve the issue. In tooltip and message, the following scenario is currently considered:

  • The Access Token is deleted in CONNECT.

You must run the upgrade on the Edge Connector machine. For more information, see Update Edge Connector.

  • The Access Token is created with permissions shared through communities which are un-shared.

You can uninstall the Edge Connector if you know the owner does not intend to re-share the roles. Otherwise you wait for scenario 3.

  • The Access Token is created with permissions shared through communities which are un-shared and later re-shared.

For the Edge Connector Service, you must run the installer on the Edge Connector machine.

For other roles, an automatic Edge Connector upgrade fixes the issue within 24 hours, but as a user, you can run the the installer manually earlier.

Edge Connector services are installed, but not running, for example, if a machine where the Edge Connector is installed is shut down.

Edge Connector services are installed but in an unknown state, manual update might be required.
