Delete Edge Connector

Note: The deletion functionality is only available, if the Edge Connector is not connected to project.

To delete an Edge Connector

  1. From the navigation pane on the AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum Administration homepage, select the Edge Connector icon to display the Edge Connector page.

  2. Select the Submenu icon in the line you want an Edge Connector to be deleted to display the submenu.

  3. Select Delete to display the Confirm edge Connector deletion message.

  4. Into the Edge Connector name field, type the name, for example, Frankfurt EC, to make the Delete button available.

  5. Click Delete.

    The Edge Connector is deleted and removed from the dashboard accordingly.

    Note: If you deleted an installed Edge Connector it is recommended to Uninstall Deleted Edge Connector accordingly.

    Note: This action is logged and visible in the audit report through CONNECT. For more information, see View audit logs.
