Subscribe Project to Edge Connector

Note: Before subscribing a project to an Edge Connector, create and upload a project and create an Edge Connector.

To subscribe a project to an Edge Connector

1. From the navigation pane on the AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum Administration homepage, select the Project icon to display the Projects page.

   

2. Select the project name which is already uploaded (Status is Ready), for example, Plant Sample to display its Project: Plant Sample page.

   

3. Select Add Edge Connector

   The Add Edge Connector side sheet is displayed on the right side of the window.

   

4. Select inside the Edge Connectors text field.

   The drop-down menu appears and shows a list of available Edge Connectors.

   

   You can type the first letters of the Edge Connector name to display it in the drop-down menu.

5. Select the name of the Edge Connector(s) you want to add. You can make multiple selections.

   Selected names get converted into chips, and the Add button becomes available.

   

6. Select Add.

   The Plant Sample project synchronizes with the Frankfurt EC Edge Connector, a zero populates the Users connected to this project column and first the Synch Status displays In Progress.

   

   If the synchronization is completed, the Synch Status displays Synced.
