User Sessions for Project Page

Displays the user sessions for the project that the user has permission to expunge. Administrative users can view and manage all user sessions within the project, while non-administrative users can only see and manage their own sessions.

If a project is not used, the data table is empty.

For projects using the AVEVA Unified Engineering – Browser Access environment, the Host and Edge Connector columns are removed and replaced with details specific to the Unified Engineering – Browser Access environment.

Filter by User Name or Edge Connector

Note: Before you can use the Filter by User Name or Edge Connector function, a minimum of one User Session must be available.

Filters the list of user sessions dependent on an entered or selected expression and compares against the User Name and Edge Connector field.

Enter a User Name, an Edge Connector or some characters into the Filter by User Name or Edge Connector field to search the list of user sessions. All matches are highlighted in yellow.

Retained Filters

Filter results are automatically retained between sign in sessions, and shown under the filter text box.

The retained filter results are also included as URL query parameters so that filter results can be shared and distributed by copying the URL address.

Terminate Selected

Terminates the selected user sessions, for example, to remove expired sessions from the project.

Note: The Terminate Selected button becomes active if one or more User Sessions are selected. For non-administrative users, only your own session is visible and can be terminated.

If you click Terminate Selected, the Manage User Sessions message is displayed.

Terminate All

Terminates all user sessions in a single step.

Check box

Marks the user session(s) to be terminated.

If you select the check box in the table header, all user sessions are selected in a single step to be terminated.

If you select a single or more check boxes in table rows, the appropriate user sessions are marked to be terminated.

Sorting by

Sorts the User Name, the Host, the Edge Connector, the Module, the Version, the Start Time or the State column by the column entries in alphabetic order.

Select the required column header to sort the column accordingly, for example, the Module header.

User Name

Displays the user name of the user who is using the project.

Host

Displays the machine / server name (host) the Edge Connector is installed on.

Edge Connector

Displays the name of the Edge Connector name the project is subscribed to.

Module

Displays the module name which is using the project.

Version

Displays the module version which is using the project.

Start Time

Displays the time when the user session was started.

State

Displays the state of the user session. The following states are possible:
