Creates an Edge Connector and its description.

Name

Input an Edge Connector name which consists of minimum one character.

An error message is displayed below the input field, if you enter:

A name which is longer than 100 characters.
Characters which are not allowed, for example, ° ! \ / : * ? “ < > @ ( ) \| § $ & % { } = * + ' ` # TAB
Wrong keys at name beginning or name end, for example, . , and empty space.

An error message is displayed below the input field, if you enter an already existing Edge Connector (name) and click Create.

Description

Input a description which is not longer than 500 characters.For example, to explain in which region it is used, which group of people is using it or on which machine it is installed. The more details are available the more it helps to identify an Edge Connector for further purpose.

Note: If you missed a required input for Name or Description, an error message is displayed below the input field.

Create

Note: If you have filled the required fields, the Create button becomes available.

Select Create to add a new defined Edge Connector to the Edge Connector Page.
