Configure access for Cloudstore (per project)

Each Edge Connector includes a Cloudstore folder that stores non-Dabacon project files for Spectrum projects. The contents are automatically synced to all Edge Connectors that the project is available on. The following procedure explains how to grant users access to the Cloudstore folder.

Configure Cloudstore access

1. Navigate to the folder C:\ProgramData\AVEVA\Spectrum Edge Connector\.

2. Right-click the cloudstore folder to display the context menu.

3. Select Properties.

   The Properties window opens.

4. Select the Sharing tab.

5. Select Share.

   The Network Access window opens.

6. Grant access to those who will be using an AVEVA Unified Engineering component.

7. Select Share.

   The permissions are granted and an additional Network Access window opens.

8. Select Done to get back to the Cloudstore Properties window.

9. Select Advanced Sharing.

   The Advanced Sharing window opens.

10. Select Permissions.

    The Permission for cloudstore window opens.

11. Grant access to the appropriate users.

    Note: This grants access to all projects. For tighter security, set permissions on the project folder level.
