Create an Edge Connector

Note: To create an Edge Connector you need either the Owner or the Edge Connectors Admin role.

To create an Edge Connector

1. Sign in to AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum Administration via CONNECT.

2. From the left side bar on the AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum Administration homepage, select the Edge Connectors entry to display the Edge Connectors page.

   

3. Select the + Create Edge Connector button to display Create Edge Connector side sheet on the right side of the window.

   

4. Enter a connector Name, for example, Frankfurt EC.

5. Enter a Description.

6. Select Create.

   The Edge Connector is created and displayed on the Edge Connector data table as a Pending Edge Connector.

   

   Note: This action is logged and visible in the audit report through CONNECT. For more information, see View audit logs.
