This folder contains .cat and .exe files:

Select the installer file, SpectrumEdgeInstaller.exe, to highlight it, then right-click to display the context menu.

-
Select Run as administrator.
The console window is displayed:

-
Enter your CONNECT credentials when prompted.
-
Select the required CONNECT account with the AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum service enabled, if more than one CONNECT account is available. If there is only one CONNECT account with the AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum service enabled, this account is automatically used.
-
If more than one Pending connector is available, use the up/down keys to select the Edge Connector. If there is only one Pending Connector, this connector is automatically used.

-
Enter the required configuration values or press Enter to take the default value.

The download of the services starts.

Then the installation of the services sets up and the installer finishes. If you press any key, the window closes.

Note: If the installation fails, it will provide a path to a log file for further information which can be provided to the AVEVA support team.
In AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum Administration, the Edge Connector is then displayed as Installed.
