Lock Project

To lock a project

1. From the navigation pane on the AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum Administration homepage, select the Project icon to display the Projects page.

   

2. Select the project you want to prevent of being used, for example, Plant Sample, to display the Project Name page.

   

3. Click the Submenu icon to display the submenu.

4. Select Lock project to display the Lock Project message.

   

5. Click Lock.

   The Project is locked. The Status chip is shown as Locked.

   

   A user cannot enter this project now. To enable the project use again, Unlock Project.

   Note: This action is logged and visible in the audit report through CONNECT. For more information, see View audit logs.
