Load a Cloud Project from AVEVA Unified Engineering Product Components

Note: If an Edge Connector is setup, a project created, uploaded and subscribed to the installed Edge Connector, the project can be used in the different product components.

You load a cloud project to work collaboratively and design globally.

1. Select the AVEVA Unified Engineering icon to display the CONNECT Authentication window.

2. Enter your credentials for CONNECT.

3. If you have access to multiple accounts, select the Spectrum Account to start the component.

4. In the AVEVA Unified Engineering screen, select the cloud project.

   

5. Select the Select > link to display a new screen with the project Details and the Setup fields.

   

6. Select the Module, for example, Model.

7. Enter your credentials.

8. Select Launch.

The component starts loading the project data from the Cloud.

Note: For AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum projects, the starting point is the list of projects to which the logged in CONNECT user has read or write access. For each of those projects the subscription with the fastest response time will be selected. It is possible that a subscription will not be included in the selection if subscription is still in progress.
For on-premises projects the process environment and file system access determine the on-premises projects that are available, as before.

While you are working on the project the data is synchronized continuously using the Edge Connector. If you experience unexpected behavior, for more information, see Troubleshooting for further information.
