Projects Page

Enables you to create, delete or manage projects for usage in the AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum.

Table Header

Displays the project attributes provided within the table.

If you click an attribute in the project table header (except Status), the list is sorted by selected attribute.The element you selected, is marked with an arrow icon:

Arrow up

Sorts in alphabetic order from A to Z or numeric order from 0 upwards.

Arrow down

Sorts in alphabetic order from Z to A or numeric order to 0 downwards.

Filter

Shows and hides the filter panel.

This button is available if filter functions are available.

Create Project

Displays the Create Project Side Sheet on the right side of the window.

Filter by Project Name/Code

Note: Before you can use the Filter by Project Name/Code function, a minimum of one Project must be created.

Filters projects dependent on an entered or selected expression and compares against the Name and Code field.

Enter a name or a code into the Filter by Project Name/Code field to search the list of projects and to list the appropriate projects in the area below.

If the Filter by Project Name /Code field stays empty, all projects are displayed.

Filter by Edge Connector

Note: Before you can use the Filter by Edge Connector function, minimum one Edge Connector must be created and subscribed to a single or multiple projects.

Filters projects dependent on the assigned Edge Connectors.

If you click into the Filter by Edge Connector box, the entire Edge Connector selection list is displayed. Enter a name to filter the Edge Connector list. Select an Edge Connector in the reduced list.

If the Filter by Edge Connector field stays empty, all projects are displayed.

Include deleted projects

Defines the display of the deleted projects.

If the check box is selected, all projects are displayed in the list of projects - including the deleted projects.

If the check box is not selected, only the pending or ready projects are displayed in the list of projects.

Retained Filters

Filter results are automatically retained between sign in sessions, and shown under the filter text box.

The retained filter results are also included as URL query parameters so that filter results can be shared and distributed by copying the URL address.

Retained filter queries can include Project Name or Code, Edge Connector, and Include deleted projects.

Remove

Removes a specific retained filter.

Clear all

Removes all retained filters

Name

Displays the project name.

If you select the project name, the Project Details Page is displayed to manage Edge Connectors and Reference Projects.

If you select a project name of a deleted project, an Error message is displayed.

Click Close to display the Project Details Page which is greyed for a deleted project. You can Restore Deleted Project.

Code

Displays the project code.

Description

Displays the project description.

Users Connected

Displays the number of users which are connected to the project.

Last Accessed

Displays the time since the project was last accessed.

Status

Displays the status of a project. The following statuses are possible:

The project is waiting to be uploaded to AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum.

The project files have been prepared and are being uploaded to AVEVA Cloud.

The project is ready and must be subscribed to an Edge Connector to enable the usage in the appropriate AVEVA applications.

The project is deleted, but can be restored if required.

Refer to Delete Project or Restore Project for further information.

The project is locked and cannot be entered by users.

If you select part of a row other than the project name, the Project Summary is displayed on the right side of the window.

Submenu Icon

Displays the submenu:

Delete project

Note: The Delete Project option becomes only available, if a Ready and Pending project is selected.

Deletes the selected project.

If you select Delete Project, the Confirm project deletion side sheet is displayed.

Project Name

Input an existing project name you want to delete.

If you have entered a valid name, the Delete button becomes available.

Delete

Deletes the specified project. For more information, see Delete Project. You can display the deleted project using the Show deleted projects option.

Once a project is deleted, it is not deleted permanently. The project can be restored within 6 months of the deletion, after this time it is permanently removed. For more information, see Restore Deleted Project.

If a project is referenced by another project, the deletion of the project is not performed and an error message is displayed.

If a project is subscribed to Edge Connectors, the project will be unsubscribed from all Edge Connectors. If this project is restored subscriptions need to be created again.

If you have bookmarked a Project Details Page for quick access in your browser, after 6 month the project is permanently deleted from the database and you call the bookmarked page again, an error message is displayed.

If you click Close, a Page not found page is displayed, because the project is physically not in the database anymore.

Restore

Note: The Restore option becomes only available, if the Show deleted projects option is enabled and a Deleted project is selected.

Restores the project.

If you select Restore, the Restore side sheet is displayed.

Provides the information when the selected projects will be removed automatically and permanently.

Name

Input an existing or a new project name.

If you have entered a valid name, the Restore button becomes available.

Restore

Restores the selected project with the specified name.

The project cannot be restored:

  • If you have entered an existing project name, an error message is displayed.

Rows per page

Display the number of elements on a page. Using the dropdown list, you can define the numbers of elements displayed on the page, select 10, 20 or 30 elements.

1 - X of X

Displays the first and the last number of elements that is shown on a page. If less elements than defined are available on the page, the icons are greyed and you cannot use them.

Switches to the first page.

Switches to a previous page.

Switches to the next page.

Switches to the last page.
