AVEVA™ System Platform

Application Server topology with a remote OI server node

Application Server topology with a remote OI server node

  • Last UpdatedDec 09, 2024

This information applies to the following System Platform topology:

Node 1: Application Server Galaxy Repository (GR)

Node 2: Operation Integration (OI) server node with the Communications Driver Pack (CDP). Node 2 does not have any other System Platform components installed.

Communications between the OI server and the GR will not be successful. This is because the Network User Account was not installed on the OI server node as part of the System Platform installation process.

Normally, a local Network User Account is automatically created when you install System Platform components, but this does not happen if CDP is the only System Platform component installed on the node. If you use this type of topology, use the Windows Computer Management app (Compmgmt.msc) to create a local Network User account on the OI server node. The account credentials must match those used on the other Application Server/System Platform nodes.
