Create a dedicated VPC

  1. In the AWS Management Console, open the VPC Dashboard.

    A VPC (Virtual Private Cloud) is a virtual network that is similar to a traditional network. You will use the VPC Dashboard to configure a virtual network that is similar to the networks that exist in your own on-premises data center.See the Amazon VPC User Guide for additional information.

  2. Select Your VPCs.

  3. Select Create VPC.

  4. Enter a name tag (for example, AVEVA-VPC) and set the IPv4 CIDR block (for example, 10.0.0.0/16). See VPC CIDR blocks for additional information.

  5. Select Create VPC. See the VPC User Guide for additional information.
