Audience
This guide is intended for engineers, system integrators, and technical personnel involved in designing, implementing, and deploying System Platform on virtualized systems.
For more advanced topologies beyond those outlined here, you should have experience in building virtualized systems and complex industrial operations environments.
Virtualization products
The examples that this document provides are based on VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V. However, other virtualization products can also be used with System Platform, including Amazon Web Services. A section that describes configuring AWS for System Platform is included. The information provided here is intended as general guidance.
