Hyper-V memory allocation

Each System Platform VM should have dedicated memory allocated to it.

• Reserve the dedicated memory on the hypervisor (shown in the green box, below).

• Do not enable Dynamic Memory (shown in the red box, below).

• Leave Memory weight at the default setting.

Steps to reserve memory for a VM in Hyper-V

1. Open Hyper-V Manager.

2. Right-click your VM → Settings.

3. Click Memory in the left pane.

4. Enable Dynamic Memory: Do NOT enable Dynamic Memory. Uncheck this option to reserve full memory.

5. Click OK to apply.
